In addition, according to a press release from the White House issued today, the President has signed the Government Employee Fair Treatment Act of 2019.
Great news!! We are getting back pay to the beginning of the furlough.
The official bill tracking service for Congress and none of the major news outlets have reported the signing as of this email but, hopefully, the news simply has not hit the current news cycle (and possibly, whomever is updating the congressional site is determined to not work extra hours necessary for keeping the progress of S.24 up to date.)
Now, we need Congress to reopen the government (with pay) so that we can do our jobs in serving the American public.
